About CRANFIT TABLET 10’S

CRANFIT TABLET 10’S belongs to the class of dietary supplements used to prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Urinary tract infection is the most common infection in humans caused by microbes and can occur in any part of the urinary tract such as bladder, urethra, kidneys or ureters.

CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is a combination of Cranberry extract and a type of sugar (D-mannose). CRANFIT TABLET 10’S works by preventing certain kinds of bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract walls and causing urinary tract infection (UTI).

Take CRANFIT TABLET 10’S with or without food as prescribed by your doctor and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Your doctor will advise you how often you take your tablets based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea or diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of CRANFIT TABLET 10’S do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to CRANFIT TABLET 10’S or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing woman, please consult a doctor before taking CRANFIT TABLET 10’S. CRANFIT TABLET 10’S should be used in children only if prescribed by a doctor. CRANFIT TABLET 10’S contains dietary supplements, namely: Cranberry extract and D-mannose (a type of sugar) used to prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). CRANFIT TABLET 10’S works by preventing certain kinds of bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract walls and causing infection. CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is a non-antimicrobial combination to prevent UTIs. It is advised for prevention as long term use, unlike antibiotics which are mainly used for short term use and existing UTIs. CRANFIT TABLET 10’S also avoids secondary infections, development resistance or side effects which may be possible with the use of antibiotics.

Directions for Use

• ALCOHOL

Interaction of alcohol with CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is unknown. Please consult a doctor before consuming alcohol with CRANFIT TABLET 10’S.

• PREGNANCY

Please consult a doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy as CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is given to pregnant women only if the doctor thinks benefits outweigh risks.

• BREAST FEEDING

It is unknown whether CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is excreted in human milk. Therefore, please consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding. CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is given to breastfeeding mothers only if the doctor thinks benefits are greater than risks.

• DRIVING

CRANFIT TABLET 10’S usually does not affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.

• LIVER

Take CRANFIT TABLET 10’S with caution, especially if you have a history of Liver diseases/conditions. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor as required.

• KIDNEYCONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

CRANFIT TABLET 10’S is contraindicated in patients with kidney failure. However, please consult a doctor if you have any kidney problems before taking CRANFIT TABLET 10’S.

• Avoid alcohol, soda, coffee, tea and artificial sweeteners as they may cause bladder irritation.
• Drink plenty of water to flush out the bacteria.
• Avoid spicy foods and citrus fruits (lemons, oranges, grapefruits) as they may irritate the bladder.
• Eat foods antioxidant-rich foods such as blueberries, cranberries, tomatoes, spinach, broccoli and plain greek yoghurt.
